UPDATE(11:45am Monday): Stellan is being airlifted to Boston. Please pray for his stability while he is transferred and that the doctors there can come up with a plan to get him better!
If you are a big time blogger I know you have heard of Stellan. He is the son of MckMama over at My Charming Kids.
Stellan is in desperate need of prayer...like right NOW!! Things are not looking good for him but we all know we have a great God. Please, please, please...take a second and pray. Spread the word and flood heaven with your prayers!
In less than 24 hours my husband will bored a plane in Iraq and start his journey back to the states. He has many stops along the way and will be super jet-lagged and tired when he gets home, but he is so excited!
Of course we are too. The kids are starting to ask me 38 times a day how many days are left. As of today....we have 10 days until he is back with us!!
Please pray for a safe trip for him and for his flights to stay on schedule.
My Rylan...he was so proud because Auntie NaeNae fixed his hair like a big boy :)
Welcome to the Blog Hop. Today you get to find out 3 things about me that you may or may not know. This has really taken some thinkin' on my part....but it has been fun!
1. Life as my family knows it is going to be changing really soon. For the last 7 years I have lived the military way of life. I have traveled, lived on the base, listened to jets fly over my house, survived 8+ deployments (almost done with the last one), and basically let my husband have a mistress--aka the Air Force. On Dec. 9, 2009 this way of life will be no more for us. That is the last day my husband will be property of the government! We are so excited and so nervous at the same time.
2. I have one little sister, Shana and she is my best friend. When we were little, I was so mean to her. I regret that looking back but I'm so glad we have become so close as we have gotten older. She is a great Auntie NaeNae to my kids and we love when she comes to town to see us!
3. I love being pregnant. I love the morning/nighttime sickness, the getting fat, the aches and pains, and the precious kicks in my side. I loved being in labor and seeing all of my babies for the first time. I am totally happy with 3 kids but I have to admit I'm going to miss the pregnancy stage.
I'll leave you with a picture of my baby girl who is growing up way too fast and already wants to wear lip gloss.
A little girl "M" needs our prayers right now. I just got news from a friend that another friend "C's" little girl is in critical condition. I don't know the full story but here is what I know.
"M" is around a year old and just started walking. She was in the kitchen and "C" heard a thump. She just assumed it was her slamming the cabinet doors something she likes to do. When C walked into the kitchen her daughter was having a seizure. They aren't sure if she fell and hit her head causing this or if she started seizing and fell.
Anyways, she was care-flighted from our small town to Children's Hospital in Dallas. As of right now she is in a coma and on a breathing machine.
This little girl and her family desperately needs our prayers. Please pray and pass this along!
This time of the year always means so much to us as a family. Especially this year. My husband (aka daddy) is currently serving his 3rd tour to Iraq. So, on this 4th of July we not only celebrated the birthday of America, but so much more. We thanked God and praised him for the freedom we have here. I will forever be grateful to all of the men and women who have fought to make our home the land of the free and most definitely the home of the brave. Unfortunately, my husband couldn't be here to celebrate this day with us...but we made sure to send him an email to tell him thank you and that we were so proud to be his wife/kids. He will forever be our HERO!!
We had some fun too on this day to celebrate. It was a day full of swimming and water-sliding. Watermelon eating and hot dog cooking. Spending time with family and loving every minute of it. Firework poppin' and watching the kids faces light up with excitement.
I am married to a wonderful man, Tony. He is currently serving in the USAF but will be getting out into the "real world" here soon. We have 3 beautiful children. Kaden, Rylan, and Milee. I love photography, crafting, and being outside with the family. I never imagined being blessed like I have been. God is Great!!
