I Heart Faces:-Week 12-Kids:Theme "Pouting"

This is my first entry so I hope I do this all right. :)
Milee's signature face is a natural pout. People always ask her if she is sad. She isn't always sad...that's just her "relaxed" look I guess. Her she is with her little pouting lips stinking out.

Back where I come from...

The kids and I just got home from a much needed vacation in Texas! Back where I'm from...thats what you call country. Horses, acres of land to run and play on, bbq, backyard campfires with hot dogs and smores, warm sunshine, four wheelers, and much more. It's where you know all about everyone and they know all about you. I actually really enjoy being at home but am not quite used to that lifestyle anymore. The boys on the otherhand...they love it!! Grampy, always drags out the old toys and they play for hours in the dirt and grass. Enjoying toys that my sister and I enjoyed many, many years ago. Grammy, bought them a new four wheeler just their size so they spent many hours riding around and trying new "tricks" on it. Needless to say, they were worn out every night!! Milee, well she just enjoyed all the attention and lovin' she got there. My kids are so very spoiled! I enjoyed seeing my parents, my grandpa, spending the night with my Granny and chatting at old times till 1 in the morning, being in the warm sun, laughing with my sister (and complaining too), taking pictures at my aunts wedding, and seeing family that I hadn't seen in years. Good times!

It felt really good to get home at the same time. I missed my house, my bed, and my honey! He even surprised me with a clean house when I got home. Nice, huh?! I guess he was really bored while we were gone!!

More pictures to come soon!

Totals are in....and it's BIG!!

I just received an email from Heather with the totals from all of us etsy sellers. The Macs were told today that we had raised...are you ready for this??? A whooping $15,667.93!!!! The numbers are still rolling in too. God had plans when he called little Cora home and he still isn't done! What a great gift to give to Cora's parents on such a tough day! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for those of you who bought something from the etsy site.

Happy Birthday Cora!

I'm sure you are having a "heavenly" party today!

Guess where I'm going Saturday???

THE SPA!!!Back in November, my wonderful hubby gave me a gift certificate to the day spa for our 6th anniversary. I know, I can't believe I have held on to a spa certificate for almost 4 months either. I finally decided to put everything to the side for a few (five?) hours and go pamper myself. I have an appointment to get a body wrap, 1 hour massage, and facial. I am stoked!!
Thanks baby for the wonderful gift! I know I am going to love every minute of it!

Every Baby needs Sweet Feet

One of my friends make these really cute booties for babies and toddlers. Milee got hers in the mail the other day and we just LOVE them!! She sells on etsy and has a blog as well. Head on over to www.laurasloft.etsy.com to check them out. Her blog is also listed below in my favorites. Check her out and tell her I sent you! She also makes some really cute toothfairy pillows and pin cusions for those of you who sew.

Thanks again C! We adore the spring colors and cuteness of these booties!

Wordless Wednesday...

Vacation in 8 days!!

Not much new to report here. I have been so busy creating new things for my etsy site that I haven't had time for much else. If you haven't headed over and checked out the items for sale for the Cora Paige project, please do. We are donating as a group on March 5th so you still have a day or so left. There is something for everyone over there!!

The kids and I (yes I did say the kids and I) are flying out on the 11th for Texas. I am probably crazy for flying with a 5, 3, and 1 year old all by myself. I need to get out of Utah for awhile though and enjoy some warm sunshine. My poor hubby though....he needs a vacation too, but unfortunately can't take leave from work at that time. Please do pray that we have a safe trip and that mama doesn't pull all her hair out on the way there.

While I am there, I will also get to take to take pictures at my aunt's wedding. I'm so excited about doing this!! Although, I will admit I am a little nervous too. It's just a outdoor, country (redneck) wedding, but should be fun! I tend to always point my camera towards kiddos, so I am going to really have to focus on the main subject! :)
